{"id":211,"date":"2014-04-25T11:26:17","date_gmt":"2014-04-25T11:26:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/plexusskada.se\/wordpress\/?page_id=211"},"modified":"2022-05-02T12:30:54","modified_gmt":"2022-05-02T12:30:54","slug":"forskning-vetenskap","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/plexusskada.se\/wordpress\/?page_id=211","title":{"rendered":"Forskning \/ Vetenskap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Plexusgruppens forskningsprojekt ber\u00f6r flera olika omr\u00e5den.<\/p>\n<p>Flera\u00a0forskningsprojekt\u00a0bedrivs\u00a0inom ramen f\u00f6r det kliniska arbetet\u00a0\u00a0och handlar bland annat om att utveckla instrument f\u00f6r att utv\u00e4rdera funktionen hos personer som drabbats av plexusskador och att utv\u00e4rdera effekten av kirurgisk behandling av olika slag, b\u00e5de betr\u00e4ffande reparation av nervskador och vad g\u00e4ller det vi kallar sekund\u00e4r kirurgi.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Barn med en f\u00f6delserelaterad plexusskada utvecklar ofta en en in\u00e5trotationskontraktur i den skadade armens axelled. Vi har i studier\u00a0under l\u00e5ng tid f\u00f6ljt de barn som vi opererat f\u00f6r detta f\u00f6r att se hur effekten av operationen st\u00e5r sig \u00f6ver tid (bra!) (12+13) samt granskat axelledens utveckling (14). Vidare har vi\u00a0 granskat v\u00e5r operationsteknik f\u00f6r in\u00e5trotationskontraktur i axelleden (15). Krister J\u00f6nsson har nyligen f\u00f6rsvarat dessa artiklar i sin avhandling samt en artikel d\u00e4r han i en experimentell djurstudie f\u00f6rs\u00f6ker finna m\u00f6jliga f\u00f6rklaringar p\u00e5 varf\u00f6r vissa barn med denna skada drabbas av co-kontraktioner (16), dvs samaktivering av muskler som verkar i olika riktningar. Resultatien i denna studie utesluter inte att det \u00e4r en central mekanism som orsakar denna samaktivering.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Vid den neurovetenskapliga institutionen vid Karolinska Institutet i Solna bedrivs grundforskning kring nervskador och nervl\u00e4kning.\u00a0\u00a0H\u00e4r p\u00e5g\u00e5r bl.a. sedan decennier experimentell forskning kring l\u00e4kning i gr\u00e4nszonen mellan ryggm\u00e4rg och spinalnerver. Genom denna forskning har\u00a0prof. Thomas Carlstedt och medarbetare utvecklat en operationsteknik (8) som visat att det g\u00e5r att s\u00e4tta tillbaks spinalnerver som slitits loss ur ryggm\u00e4rgen\u00a0vid olycksfall och \u00e5terf\u00e5 viss funktion. F\u00f6r n\u00e4rvarande \u00e4r operationstekniken &#8221;vilande&#8221;. Vi beh\u00f6ver n\u00e5gon form av l\u00e4kemedelsadjuvans f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra\u00a0resultaten.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>V\u00e5r kurator Linda Geupel har i en\u00a0masteruppsats gjort en kvalitativ intervjustudie med ungdomar som har en f\u00f6delserelaterad plexus brachialisskada. Studien visar p\u00e5 deras upplevelser av sin skada, v\u00e5rden och hur de ser p\u00e5 sig sj\u00e4lva, utifr\u00e5n sin skada.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/plexusskada.se\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/Everyone-is-a-variation-of-normal.pdf\">Everyone is a variation of normal<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Vi har i Stockholm tillsammans med Ume\u00e5 under 2021 p\u00e5b\u00f6rjat en enk\u00e4t- och intervjustudie f\u00f6r patienter med traumatisk plexusskada f\u00f6r att kunna se hur den rehabilitering dessa patienter f\u00e5r fungerar samt hur de m\u00e5r.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nedan\u00a0f\u00f6ljer ett\u00a0urval av vetenskapliga publikationer som producerats av medarbetare i teamet.
